Shaykh Dr. Reda Bedeir
Dr. Reda Bedeir is an Islamic scholar, university educator, and community leader whose work brings together Qur’anic scholarship, Arabic and English linguistics, Islamic education, and community service. With an academic background rooted in Al-Azhar University and extensive teaching and chaplaincy experience in Canada and internationally, he is committed to making the timeless guidance of Islam accessible, meaningful, and relevant to contemporary life.
Through his teaching and public engagement, he seeks to connect the depth of Islamic scholarship with the realities of modern life, encouraging deeper understanding of the Qur’an, spiritual growth, sound character, and a stronger relationship with Allah. At Bayan Centre, his scholarly background and experience in education and community engagement provide a foundation for thoughtful learning, meaningful reflection, and the practical application of Islamic teachings.
